The CEO of Avcontech Security Masters, Nana Kweku Ofori Atta has applauded the Asantehene His Royal Majesty Otumfo Osei Tutu II profusely on his position on the fight against galamsey.

I personally applaud the Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfo Osei Tutu II for cautioning his chiefs over the ongoing campaign against the illegal mining Galamsey saga which has become a chronic problem affecting our environment and water bodies across the breadth and length of our beloved country, Ghana.
I am humbled to have seen and heard His Royal Majesty Otumfo Osei Tutu II, the king of Asante addressing his chiefs accordingly without any fear or favor and also hitting the nail on its head by cautioning them to desist from such behavior that goes on in their respective jurisdictions where they represent him as chiefs.

it’s a wake up call as you add your voice to the campaign to secure our environment and land especially within the jurisdiction of Asante Kingdom where you Rule.

Otumfo, His Royal Majesty, may you live longer.

I will urge other chiefs across the nation to also take this bold initiative taken by the Ansantehene and follow suit to stop the ongoing illegal mining galamsey saga which goes on within their various jurisdictions as well.

The Ghana Water Company Limited has cautioned government of its inability to purchase chemicals to purify water for human consumption at various homes.
What is Ghana Standard Board doing to ensure they issue license to individuals who are into manufacturing of mineral water for also human consumption?
I believe they should raise their criteria they use in approving licenses to these mineral water manufacturing companies in order to avoid mass illness since most of our water bodies are polluted and contaminated through the act of illegal mining galamsey.

Mr President, kindly help save our environment and water bodies before we get to a point where we have no choice than to also begin importing water into our beloved nation.

Let us not forget that rivers, streams, lakes and the sea meet at a point before diverting to other places. If we are not protecting and preventing this unfortunate situation facing our nation, it can easily escalate to other negbhouring countries which Ghana shares boarder with .

It is the responsibility of every Ghanaian to see it as a need to join in the fight against illegal mining galamsey. Let us protect and preserve our lands and water bodies for the future generations.

Mr.President, the youth need jobs, kindly create an enabling environment for us to live responsibly as good citizens of Ghana.
God bless us all.
