Cedi depreciation affecting my s3xual performance – Ken

Controversial Member of Parliament for Assin Central has revealed he is unable to satisfy his wife in bed due to the depreciation of the cedi.

This is because the businessman and legislator had to cough out so much money just to clear his goods at the port due to the performance of the local currency against major trading currencies like the dollar.

“These days I can’t even sleep with my wife due to the cedi. I always have to change a lot of cedis for few dollars due to the depreciation,” he stated on Oman FM Thursday.

The local currency is still struggling to stabilise against the major international currencies with the US dollar, selling at between GH¢ 5.6 and GH¢ 5.7.

already, importers have threatened to embark on a demonstration to register their displeasure over “taxes” being applied at various entry points into the country.

In spite of assurances by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta that the situation will stabilise in two weeks, many continue to remain skeptical.

Mr Ofori Atta had said his government was expecting large inflows of foreign exchange into the country to help turn around the value of the cedi.

But an apprehensive Ken Agyapong has charged the government to expedite action to save the businesses of Ghanaians.

He was confident the measures being put I place by the Bank of Ghana will yield positive results in the coming day.

The Assin Central MP appealed for calm among the business community as the Akufo-Addo government works to stabilize the cedi against the dollar.

Ken Agyapong, however, chastised the erstwhile Mahama government for “messing up” the economy, adding that they have no moral right to join the cedi debate.
