Details of how popular Akwatia businessman’s ‘newly acquired’ 2025 Rolls Royce Cullinan crashed

Twum Barima, a well-known businessman in Akwatia, is once again trending online, but the news isn’t positive this time.

The last time he made headlines was when he purchased a 2025 Rolls Royce Cullinan, Black Badge edition, worth approximately $500,000, which he proudly showcased on social media recently.

However, in a new turn of events, his newly acquired luxury vehicle has been involved in an accident.

According to reports, the accident occurred after his driver, who was allegedly drunk, lost control of the car, veered off the road, and landed in the bushes.

Eyewitnesses who saw him along the stretch from Osino towards the Kyebi stretch on Thursday, January 23, 2025, claimed the car was on top speed prior to the accident.

The severely damaged Rolls Royce that rammed into a pole in the bushes, has since been towed from the accident scene by the police.

While some attribute the crash to drunk driving and overspeeding, others speculate that it may be linked to spiritual factors, suggesting that Barima’s frequent flaunting of his new car might have attracted negative attention.

The driver, however, escaped the incident unhurt.

Previous accident involving a Range Rover

This is not the first time Twum Barima has been involved in a vehicle accident.

Sometime in 2024, he was involved in a crash with his Range Rover in Topreman, which resulted in an incident with a child.

Barima voluntarily turned himself into the police following that accident.

Extravagance

Twum Barima, who is into gold and diamond mining, is known for his extravagant lifestyle, frequently showcasing his collection of luxury cars in his garage to the public.

He is also well-known for his lavish spending, including frequently spraying cash at events, which earned him the nickname’Showboy’.
