Nana Yaa Brefo robbed at gunpoint

Adom TV anchor, Nana Yaa Brefo was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown man on Tuesday, GhanaNewsPage.Com can report.

Narrating her ordeal on Adom TV on Wednesday as monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, the versatile presenter said she was in traffic around Christ the King School in Cantonment when the heavily built man approached her vehicle.

Nana Yaa Brefo said the man pulled a gun on her and demanded that she surrenders her valuables to her.

She continued that the robber picked up her two mobile phones from the vehicle and later demanded that she surrenders her handbag.

“He just pointed a gun at me while in my car and threatened to shoot me if I don’t give him my bag, but I don’t carry bags so there was none to give…,” she narrated.

People who were closer to the scene looked on while she was robbed in traffic.

“Everyone looked on as I was robbed. Later a guy with Motorolla by his side approached me and asked if they stole anything from me, when I said yes, he could only say sorry…,” she said further.

According to Nana Yaa, the robber later joined a motorcycle and absconded with his booty.
