CAF Confed Cup: Have confidence Nkana will be defeated – George Amoako

CEO of Asante Kotoko, George Amoako has struck a confident tone ahead of clash against Nkana FC by tasking the playing body to believe in themselves and their ability to beat Zambians in Kumasi on Sunday.

The Porcupines were stunned at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe, last Sunday as they lost 3-1 to Nkana FC in the third Group C game of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Reds will be welcoming the Red Devils to the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, March 3 in the reverse fixture of match day-four of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Addressing the players at clubs training ground (Adako Jachie) George Amoako, told them that they have what it takes to win on Sunday and they should win by 2 or more goal margin to enhance the Reds chances of progressing to the quarter final.

“No team can play as good as you are doing after just six months of being put together. That means you are good. You know what you are about and I don’t want this one defeat to defeat you.”

“Those of you, who went there saw how they beat us, and are you going to allow the same thing to happen here in Kumasi? No.”

“That can’t happen, It shouldn’t happen, have the confidence that we would put not less than two goals behind them.”
