CAF Confed Cup: Egyptian official to handle Kotoko, Nkana clash

Egyptian referee Ahmed El Ghandour has been appointed to officiate the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup match between Zambia giants Nkana FC and Asante Kotoko on Sunday, February 24.

The experienced official will be the centre referee as the Red Devils welcome the Porcupine Warriors to the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

He will be assisted by countrymen Ahmed Hassam Eldin Hany Abdelfatta as the assistant line one and Mahmoud El Shandidy as the assistant line two.

Egyptian officials were in charge of Kotoko 1-0 away defeat to Sudanese club Al Hilal in the opener of the group.

Kotoko recorded their first victory at home after beating Zambian side Zesco United by 2-1 on matchday two of the group stage last Wednesday.
