C/R: Over 16,800 BECE failed – Free SHS Coordinator

A total of five hundred and seventy one thousand (571, 000) candidates sat for the exams.

According to him, three hundred and sixty seven thousand (367,000) candidates got school placement while one hundred and eighty seven thousand (187,000) candidates did not.

He told EIB Network Central Regional Correspondent Yaw Boagyan in an interview that, most of the candidates failed in both Mathematics and English and will not get access to Free Senior High School education.

He then encouraged all those candidates who failed especially in Mathematics and English to register and write the papers again to enable them have access to the Free Senior High School education.
