Burna Boy, John Legend, other artists stand proudly at Paris La Défense Arena

Nigerian artist Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, attended the Yellow Coins Gala on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in France.

This charity and music event featured stars like John Legend, Aya Nakamura, J Balvin, Katy Perry, J-Hope, and Gautier Capuçon. Now in its third year, the gala aims to raise funds for the Hospital Foundation and is being held at the Paris La Défense Arena for the first time.

In a video posted by @afrobeatshq on Instagram, Burna Boy was seen standing proudly with other artists on stage while fans cheered them on. He also shared some highlights from the event on his Instagram stories, including a moment when he hugged John Legend.

Burna Boy’s impact worldwide is significant, having performed at many international events. His fan base has expanded over time, bringing pride to his fellow countrymen.

Referred to as the African giant, a title from his 2019 fourth studio album, the singer is a Grammy award holder.
