Burna Boy dares EFCC as he steps on naira notes while dancing at a nightclub

Grammy-winning artiste, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu widely known as Burna Boy has caused a buzz on social media after a video of him at a Lagos nightclub, Hot Box, surfaced, showing him stepping on Naira notes.

A video shared on Intelregion’s Instagram page captured the moment Burna Boy was happily dancing to songs like “Higher,” and “Tshawal” while partying with socialite Yhemolee and others.

However, the video also sparked some controversy, as the singer was shown stepping on Naira notes, which is against Nigerian law.

The Central Bank of Nigeria states that it’s illegal to spray, dance on, or step on the Naira or any banknote at events. Those who break this law could face at least six months in jail, a fine of 50,000 Naira, or both.
