BREAKING NEWS: Mass resignations hit Citi FM

There is turmoil at Accra-based Citi Fm operated by Omni Media Limited resulting in the resignation of some four journalists who have been working with the station for years, MyNewsGh.com can report.

The mass resignations mainly their regional correspondents MyNewsGh.com gathers includes  Nana Boakye Yiadom, King Nobert Akpakle, Volta Regional Correspondent, Obrempong Yaw Ampofo,  Western Regional correspondent and Abdul Karim Natogma, Northern Regional Correspondent.

Sources say Vivian Kai Lokko who has been made the Head of News is having issues with journalists because of her allegedly poor managerial skills and leadership

She allegedly speaks to the correspondents anyhow and insults them which is said to have sparked the resignations though management is working behind the scenes to have their journalists rescind their decision.

Meanwhile, some of the resigned journalists when reached for their comments declined to confirm or deny the information making the rounds.

One of them who spoke to MyNewsGh.com on grounds on strict anonymity said he cannot continue to be disrespected by someone who is trying to lord over journalist.
