BREAKING NEWS: Man, 40 hangs himself at Kumasi K.O (Photo)

Kofi Owusu, 40-year-old man has allegedly hanged himself at Krobo Odumasi (K.O) Electoral Area in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti Region.

The deceased in a cream shirt and shorts was found hanging at the verandah of s shop with his slippers by him and a rope fastened to his neck with a protruding tongue.

It is still not known if someone committed the act or the young man took his own life for reasons yet to be uncovered.

The unfortunate incident has thrown the residents of K.O electoral area in shock in the wake of complaints by residents of the increasing cases of murder and robberies in the community which is also a known business hub

Last Month, a man believed to be in his 30s was murdered by an unknown assailant.

The Assembly Man for K.O electoral area Alexander Kesse who confirmed the sad incident to MyNewsGh.com Ashanti Regional correspondent and said the man was found dead by the residents.

According to him, the residents believed that the deceased was hanged by an unknown assailant expressing worry about insecurity in the area.

Meanwhile, a completed Police Station in the area has been left to rot due to the poor road network in the area.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital by Zongo Police officers for autopsy.
