The Oche river is said to be full to the brim following frequent rains in the area.

Residents told Kasapa FM New Yaw Boagyan that there have been series of announcements made through the community’s information center asking parents to warn their children not to bathe in the river to avoid needless death. But it was unfortunate the young boy has fallen victim.

Meanwhile, the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District NADMO Coordinator Mr. Grant Essilfi has advised people not to swim in rivers during the raining season and desist from building in the waterlogged areas.
