In a video making waves online on March 11, 2025, Empress Gifty was captured showing off her new facial looks amidst rumours that she may have undergone Botox, a nose job, and lip fillers.

Prior to this, Empress Gifty shared a video of herself fixing veneers on her teeth.

The series of facial enhancement procedures has caused a dramatic change in her appearance, sparking massive buzz online.

While some netizens are admiring her new look, others, unimpressed, have argued that it looks overly artificial.

Some netizens have also criticised Empress Gifty for going too far, especially as a gospel musician who is expected to live a modest life.
