Bishop Agyinasare recounts how his wife nearly rejected him 40 years ago

The founder of Word Miracle Church International, now Perez Chapel International, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, and his wife, Rev. Vivian Agyinasare, will mark their 40th wedding anniversary in 2025.

A viral video from their 39th wedding anniversary captures the renowned clergyman reflecting on his journey with Rev. Vivian Agyinasare.

Speaking to his congregation, the Archbishop recalled how his wife nearly turned down his marriage proposal in 1984.

He revealed that she had concerns about their age difference, as she was a few years older than him, and doubted whether he could take care of her.

“We’ve been married for 39 years, but 40 years ago when I told her I wanted to marry her, she said I couldn’t take care of her because she’s a few years older than me,” he recounted.

With his wife by his side, Archbishop Agyinasare confidently affirmed that he has indeed taken good care of her over the years.

“See how she is looking,” he said, drawing applause from the congregation.
