The Gye Nyame lads currently sit at the top of the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League table after nine matchdays, boasting the best defensive record and an impressive 13 points from a possible 15 in their five home fixtures.
They hold a three-point lead over second-placed Nations FC and remain unbeaten in the league.
With five wins—including a statement 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak on the road—along with four draws, Gold Stars’ title credentials have become a subject of growing conversation in recent weeks.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Adu remains cautious when it comes to discussing their ambitions.
“All the other Ghana Premier League teams, each team’s vision is to win the title. If we win the league title, it will bring prestige to the club. Everything we do in life, the aim is to progress and this is our fourth season in the Ghana Premier League.
“If the opportunity comes for us to win the league, we will grab it. We will continue working hard to compete professionally and if at the end of the season, our effort deserves the title, so be it,” he said.
Bibiani Gold Stars will take on Young Apostles in their next game in Wenchi in match week ten of the Ghana Premier League.
