Bawumia donates GHC5,000 each to Bagre Dam spillage victims

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has paid a working visit to the disaster areas, met with disaster victims and bereaved families in the Northern part of the country.

The Vice President donated an amount of GHC5,000 each to the bereaved families of the Bagre Dam spillage on Saturday.

He also presented relieved items to all the affected victims of the flood and Bagre Dam spillage.

The relieved items presented were bags of rice, maize, cooking oil, blankets, among others.

The Vice President was at Sinisi in Bulsa North, Kolgo in Kasena Banana East, Navrongo and Tongo in Talensi.

Dr. Bawumia said the items donated would go a long way to assist the affected victims.
