Acouple of Bafana Bafana stars have attracted interest from sides in the English Premier League. Let’s take a look at the players and teams interested…

Bafana Bafana finished third, earning Bronze in the recent Afcon tournament in Ivory Coast. Hugo Broos and his charges made the nation proud and in the process several South African stars lives could change.

In fact, two players have already attracted interest from sides in the English Premier League.

BAFANA BAFANA DUO DRAW EPL INTEREST

Teboho Mokoena and Khuliso Munda have been linked with possible moves to EPL sides. The Sundowns midfielder has drawn interest from sides in Europe as well as Pitso Mosimane’s former club Al Ahly.

Furthermore, the European sides interested in his services were not disclosed. However, now we know the name of the English Premier League side interested in signing him. That team is Bournemouth.

Clubs have been lining up offers for Mokoena and early indications are that he will consider a move to Europe.

“They didn’t want to say which club is interested in him in because they didn’t want to disturb the talks but so far what we know is that it’s Bournemouth. They have made inquires about the player and now it’s all up to the Sporting Director to make the decision concerning offers and the value of the player. Obviously he won’t come cheap. He is one of the most priced players not only at Sundowns but in South Africa as well. But knowing English teams they will Fight for what they believe is an asset,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

MUDAU REPORTEDLY LINKED WITH BURNLEY

There are reports claiming that Burnley are interested in Mudau.

“Obviously, there are rumours here and there but I’m focusing on my team, which is Mamelodi Sundowns. But if an opportunity like that [playing for Burnley FC] can come, obviously I’ll just take it,” Mudau told SAFA media.

Therefore, both players could join the likes of Lyle Foster (Burnley) and Benni McCarthy (Manchester United attack coach) as South Africans residing in England due to their respective football-related expertise
