Mr Ibu’s adopted daughter Jasmine speaks on actor’s death

Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of late actor John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu, has finally spoken up about her father’s passing after a period of silence.

The comic actor faced the terrible prospect of having a limb amputated during the sad events leading up to his death.

In reaction to his passing, Jasmine posted a heartfelt eulogy on Instagram on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Through a lovely film montage, she tenderly reminisced about the good times she had spent with Mr. Ibu. It captured their talks filled with laughter, and it even featured a touching clip of the humorous maestri singing her praises from his sickbed.

Amidst rumours of misappropriation involving funds designated for the actor’s medical expenses, Jasmine voiced her disappointment, saying that all of her kindness toward Mr. Ibu appeared to have the opposite effect.

Sadly, Jasmine stated that Mr. Ibu’s sudden passing has irreversibly destroyed the chance for him to clarify the matter, casting doubt on their tumultuous relationship.
