Ayawaso North: NDC Constituency Chairman Sacked From Party

My News Ghana earlier reported that The Ayawaso North Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress NDC Ahmed Tahiru has been suspended from his role of the party’s constituency Chairman following the latter’s letter to the police that the NDC National Vice Chairman, Alhaji Said Sinare, has supplied guns to some youth to cause mayhem in the upcoming December 7 polls.

But a former National Organiser of the NDC, Mahdi Jibril speaking on Neat FM’s Me Man Nti programme has revealed that the chairman has rather been sacked from the party unlike reported earlier.

“…..you are the party chairman and you know we follow laid down rules in the party…he’s aware of the party’s constitution and yet he went ahead to do what he did. Just to embarrass and destroy the party. He is not only suspended; we are expelling him from the party. With this kind of behaviour you don’t deserve to be in the party,” he indicated.
