Audio: Man poses as husband to sleep with hunter’s wife

A 35-year-old man identified as Kofi Arhin has been arrested by the Gomoa Dominase Police for allegedly raping a 33-year-old woman at Gomoa Amoanda in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

According to the police, the victim was sleeping naked due to the intense heat in her room while her husband had also gone for grasscutter hunting.

In the hunter’s absence, the suspect allegedly barged into the victim’s room after taking a lot of alcohol with friends to commit the act.

In an interview with Adom News, the victim revealed she saw and felt somebody having sex with her but she thought it was her husband only for her to later realise that it was a different person when she sensed the smell of alcohol on the suspect.

Subsequent to the rape, the victim was presented with a medical form to seek treatment but the husband has told Adom News’ Kofi Adjei that doctors at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital have refused to attend to her.

Doctors at the facility have allegedly told the victim after she submitted Police Medical form to the hospital per her age, nothing could have gone wrong with her private part, the victim’s husband has said.

The Dominase District Police Commander, DSP Paul Ankan, who confirmed the news said the suspect is in their custody as they prepare to arraign him before court.
