A conversation between murdered Salvation Army Senior High School (SHS) teacher, George Somuah Bosompem, narrating his ordeal to a female colleague, prior to his death, has emerged.
The audio had Mr Bosompem narrate to the female voice, identified as Ewura Amah that he was on his way to his pastor’s house when his attackers forcibly dragged him to a nearby bush where they gave him the beating of his life.
Contrary to reports that he went to confront the accused persons over their activities on the school’s compound, Mr Bosompem said his attack was unprovoked.
The teacher who appeared to be speaking from his hospital bed at the time of the conversation told his colleague that the doctors told him his pelvic bone has opened up because of the beating.
The now-deceased teacher who sounded in pain said the attackers told him that he was not their real target.
He said they indicated to him that teachers he named as OB and Justice were their real targets.
According to him, the attacker who hit him with an object to immobilize him later joined others to sympathize him.
“That was when I signalled my pastor who passed on the information to the police for him to be arrested,” he narrated in Twi.
