Asantehene accepts invitation to Grace Oguaa Fetu Festival

The overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has accepted an invitation to attend this year’s Oguaa Fetu festival.

A delegation from the Oguaa Traditional Council, on behalf of the Paramount Chief of Oguaa Traditional Council, Osabarima Kwasi Atta II, officially invited the Asantehene to the event at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on Friday, July 5, 2024.

The Asantehene, pleased to accept the invitation, promised to attend the festival with a large entourage to show his support for the Oguaa Paramount Chief.

“I am delighted to have received this invitation by Osabarima Akwasi Atta, although I had already expressed my readiness to join the festival, I needed to seek the permission of my council members.

“And the council members have given me the Greenlight, so go back and tell my brother that, I will come to the festival with a huge entourage,” Asantehene told the delegation.

He expressed his gratitude for the invitation and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting peace and harmony throughout the country, using his influence and power.
