Asante Kotoko unveil pre-season schedule ahead of 2025/26 campaign

Asante Kotoko have officially unveiled their pre-season programme as preparations intensify for the upcoming 2025/26 football season.

The Porcupine Warriors are set to regroup on Sunday, July 13, to commence their off-season activities.

The team will undergo medical assessments and engage in light training from Monday, July 14, allowing the technical bench to assess players’ fitness levels following the summer break.

As part of their preparations, the 2024/25 Ghana FA Cup champions will travel to South Africa on Tuesday, July 22, where they are scheduled to face South African powerhouse Kaizer Chiefs in the highly anticipated Toyota Cup.

The high-profile encounter is expected to serve as a critical test for the Kumasi-based side ahead of their domestic and continental commitments.

Kotoko will return to Ghana on Tuesday, July 29, to continue with the next phase of their pre-season training.

With the Ghana Premier League and CAF Confederation Cup fixtures looming, the team is determined to sharpen its competitive edge.

The club is targeting a strong run on the continental stage while also setting its sights on reclaiming dominance in the Ghanaian top flight.
