ARSOG elections slated for July 31

The Audiovisual Rights Society of Ghana (ARSOG) is set to hold its highly anticipated Board of Directors elections on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

The event will take place at the Catholic Institute of Business and Technology, located close to GNAT Hall, Workers College, Adabraka, Accra.

The elections will feature candidates vying for positions within two key categories: Producers and Authors, and Performers of Audiovisual Works/Contents.

In the Producers and Authors category, the contenders are:

1. Zakaria Abdulai
2. Emmanuel Etteh
3. Michael Kwaku Ola Ntiamoah
4. Steve Asare Hackman
5. Paul Adjei
6. Nana Kofi Acheampong
7. Kaakyire Kwame Appiah
8. Samuel Akawasi Nyamekye

For the Performers of Audiovisual Works/Contents, the candidates include:

1. Kafui Dzivenu
2. Jonas Nbawona
3. Bill Asamoah
4. James Clarke

This election will determine the new Board of Directors for ARSOG, who will be tasked with advancing the interests and rights of audiovisual creators and performers in Ghana.

The ARSOG community and stakeholders are encouraged to participate in this significant event, as the new board members will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the audiovisual industry in Ghana.
