Armed security, SUV, red carpet: Watch the moment Shatta Bandle arrived at Mr Ibu’s funeral

On Friday, June 28, 2024, the funeral and burial rites of late Nigerian comic actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu, was held in his hometown of Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Among the various dignitaries that showed up for the funeral included comic sensation Firdaus Iddrisu popularly known as Shatta Bandl.

A video of Shatta Bandle’s showing up at the funeral grounds shows the viral sensation descending from a black Lexus SUV and being received by armed security guards.

He was ushered to the funeral grounds with shouts of his name from ecstatic attendees.

Along the line, the ‘Yon Rich Nigga’ as he refers to himself dipped into his side bag to retrieve some cash for a show.

Mr Ibu died on March 2, 2024, after a prolonged sickness.

The actor was popular for his comic roles and featured in dozens of movies across the African continent.
