Apimanim ADB robbed

Reports reaching My News Ghana confirms that the Apimanim Branch of the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region has been robbed.

Speaking to the media, eyewitnesses say that a gang of about seven (7) armed robbers stormed the bank at about 12midnight and overpowered the security man at post and made away with valuables in the bank.

The armed robbers, however, could not have access to the strongroom of the bank since it was firmly secured.

Western regional correspondent Emmanuel Ohene Gyan, the Agona-Nwanta District Police Commander, DSP Valentine Akposu refused to comment on the situation when he was contacted y the media.
