A young man said to be in his early twenty’s was reportedly lynched today at Osino in the Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern Region, MyNewsGh.com report.
Speaking to MyNewsGh.com, some residence of Osino who witnessed the incident said “the young boy was chased after he was caught attempting to break into someone’s house and took to his heels when he was spotted.
As he made his way to Osino Presbyterian cemetery while been chased by the youth, he couldn’t run far anymore.
The angry youth caught up with him, beat him up till he gave up the ghost on the spot”.
Prior to the incident, a mobile money vendor at Osino was robbed at gunpoint and even sustained gunshots and is now seeking health care at The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
As of the time of filing this report, no arrest had been made as police investigation is underway.
