Anas exposé: NDC and NPP panelists trade blows at radio station

Two radio panelists; Abrahamani Alhassan and Peter Nlepah from the two main political parties, NPP and NDC got mixed up in a dirty physical fight whiles engaging in a discussion about Anas’ exposé at the studios of Oti Radio at Dambai in the Volta Region.

Abrahamani Alhassan who represented the New Patriotic Party at the radio station in an interview with Peace FM on Friday Midday News bulletin, alleged that their fight was as a result of what he described as a “clear misunderstanding” between both of them.

Efforts by management of the radio station to calm nerves failed resulting in a fight outside the premises of the radio station.

The matter has however been reported to the police for further investigations.

The leadership of the New Patriotic Party in the Volta region in a statement condemned the attack but have vowed not to participate in any political programme at the radio station.
