Amerado shares how he performed ‘for girls’ ritual at 2 am in a cemetery

2023 VGMA Best Rapper of the Year, Amerado, has shared how he resorted to using a love spell to gain the affection of a former lover.

According to the rapper, the incident, which happened sometime back during his days in Kumasi, saw him performing some rituals at a cemetery around 2 am.

“It was 2 at dawn; I went to the cemetery and sprinkled powder while saying my wishes. That was all. I was alone, I am for real; I am not lying,” he told Andy Dosty of Hitz FM during a recent interview.

Asked if he had no fears engaging in such an act at such an ungodly hour, the rapper stated that he was inspired by love and did not see how he could be stopped.

“Yes, because I was in love. Andy, 2 am is nothing; have you not fallen before? If I was asked to walk to Accra, I would have done it,” he said.

He maintained that the spell indeed had its desired effect, adding that he was no longer with the lady in question.

Following the release of two back-to-back hit songs, ‘Kwaku Ananse’ and ‘Abronoma,’ the rapper has recently dropped another song titled ‘Tintinto,’ which is also gaining airplay just weeks after its release.
