Amerado rushed to hospital after stage collapse

Ghanaian musician Amerado, born Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, has allegedly been involved in an accident while performing on stage.

The rapper, who recently returned from the United States of America, was billed to perform at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School.

In a viral video sighted by MyNewsGh.com on social media, the stage on which Amerado was performing caved in, which caused the tragic accident.

In the said video, it was seen that most of the students were leaving the venue after the stage collapsed.

The rapper was then rushed to the hospital.

An observer at the event said Amerado suffered severe injuries from the accident and was sent to the Effia Nkwanta Government Hospital for treatment.

The talented rapper and singer recently released his new song “TinTonTin” and had several nominations at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
