Alan Kyerematen, a presidential candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) and founder and leader of the Movement for Change, has interpreted his position on the ballot paper for the 2024 elections.
The Electoral Commission conducted balloting for the presidential candidates ahead of the 2024 elections at its headquarters on September 20, 2024.
Alan, contesting the election as an independent candidate, picked number 13, the last position on the ballot paper.
Responding to his position in a social media post, he wrote in Twi, “Ase3 ho na nkunimdie wo,” which translates to “victory comes from the bottom.”
Meanwhile, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, secured the number one position on the ballot, while his main contender for the 2024 polls, John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will occupy the number eight position.
