Akufo-Addo press meeting moved to 5pm today

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be meeting the Ghanaian media today, Wednesday, 19 December 2018 at the seat of government, Jubilee House.

A statement signed by Deputy Minister of Information, Pious Enam Hadzide, on Tuesday, 18 December 2018, said: “In furtherance of His Excellency the President’s desire to continually engage with the Ghanaian people through the media, the President will on Wednesday,19 December 2018 meet with a cross section of the media at the Banquet Hall, Jubilee House, Accra.

“This would be the second engagement in 2018.”

The statement added: “The Ghana Journalists Association, the umbrella body of journalists in Ghana, is working with the Ministry of Information and the Communication Directorate at the Jubilee House to coordinate media invitations.

“The president is expected to speak to some key national issues and interact with the media afterwards.”

The media encounter was originally scheduled for 10:30 am but has been moved to 5pm.
