Akufo-Addo manipulating Ghana Police Service to rig 2020 elections – Alhaji A B A Fuseini

The Member of Parliament, Sagnarigu Constituency in the Northern Region, Hon. Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini, has accused the Ghana Police Service of being manipulated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to rig the 2020 elections.

According to him, the security agencies are biased hence they are not executing their work professionally as Police officials.

“We are concerned that the Akufo-Addo government has turned the Ghana Police Service into an NPP Police Service that they control like their puppet. All the institutions are not working because they are always manipulated by President Akufo-Addo and his government. Has Nana Obiri Boahen been arrested for his stupid and useless comments? Why do you frustrate Bernard Mornah ?,”Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini told Reynold Agyemang on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7

He indicated that, he doesn’t understand why the Akufo-Addo led government has politicized all the state institutions.

His comments comes after Bernard Mornah was invited by the Police CID to assist in investigations into comments he made regarding the EC’s compilation of the new voter’s register.

The PNC chairman who was accompanied by members of the Inter-Party Resistance Against a New Register insists that anyone who attempts to attack him will receive an equal measure of beatings from him.

Hon. Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini admitted previous NPP administrations have also exhibited some partisanship, he stated that Akufo-Addo has deepened it.
