Akufo-Addo files nomination for December polls

President Akufo-Addo has filed his nomination at the Electoral Commission’s office in Accra to contest the December polls on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

The President is seeking to be re-elected for a second term in the upcoming December elections.

The process for presidential aspirants who wish to contest the December polls started on Monday at the EC with several other aspirants expected to file their nominations.

The president was accompanied by the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

The NDC has also noted their flagbearer, John Mahama, will file his nomination on Wednesday, October 7,2020.

Meanwhile, Independent presidential candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah is next to submit his nominations according to Starr FM’s Musah Lansah.
