Akua Donkor is dead

According to multiple reports, the 2024 presidential candidate died at the Ridge Hospital while receiving treatment in Accra on the evening of Monday, October 28, 2024.

However, the specific health condition that led to her death remains unclear.

She was 72 years old.

Akua Donkor was number 3 on the ballot paper for the 2024 elections and was actively preparing for the anticipated elections, with nearly 39 days left.

She had promised free vehicles for journalists, duty-free port services for the clearance of goods, free education, proper remuneration for farmers, and other policies she aimed to implement should she win the 2024 elections.

Netizens are pouring in tributes to her family, loved ones, and supporters of her party.
