Agyapong vows to expose 5 “corrupt” top journalists

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has threatened to expose some five top journalists he claims are “extremely corrupt”.

According to the lawmaker, these journalists have acquired properties, mostly houses, through corrupt means but present themselves as holier-than-thou journalists.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen political talk show on Monday, 11 June, Mr Agyapong said: “No NPP member can stop me from exposing those evil and corrupt journalists that are parading all over the country that they are honest.

“Whenever those journalists sleep, they should ask themselves how they got the money to buy their houses.

“Who in Ghana can say on authority that he is not corrupt? There are five journalists that I will expose and Ghanaians will be shocked. They sit on radio and present themselves as honest people; they are very corrupt.”
