Agya Koo, Matilda Asare, others have chopped our NPP cash – Angry Agenda 57 member cries

A member of NPP’s Agenda 57 group which solidly campaigned for the party ahead of the 2016 has made an allegation against the group’s leaders, Agya Koo, Matilda Asare and others.

The filmmaker whose name is only known as Ogyam in an interview with Mike 2 on Adom FM’s Entertainment show alleged that Agya Koo left the Agenda 57 group he created prior to the 2016 general election after the party gave him a sumptuous amount of money to share for his members when NPP won the previous election.

According to him, Matilda Asare together with one Attah Boakye who was the then Agya Koo’s manager resurrected the group after Kofi Adu’s exit. The aggrieved Agenda 57 member continued that after the resurrection of the group with the help of Matilda Asare, Justlord, Atta Aboagye, and Kobby, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Chairman Wontumi opened a bank account for each of the over seventy members of the group and deposited a seed fund of Gh1000 into each account.

According to Ogyam, the cash was given to each member as a thank you for helping the party during the 2016 polls. Ogyam went on to tell Mike 2 on the Saturday entertainment show that Atta Aboagye later contacted all members that the leaders of the Agenda 57 group had planned to invest the Gh1000 given to each member hence the need for all of them to sign a form for the cash to be withdrawn for such a purpose.

He further revealed that none of the members has since received the Gh1000 nor the income they promised.

Ogyam added that the leaders of the group which includes actress Matilda Asare and Atta Aboagye keep giving them stories.

When Chairman Wontumi was contacted to react the allegation Ogyam has leveled against the leaders of Agenda 57, he pleaded with him to come to his office for the issue to be solved.
