Citi News has gathered that the Special Advisor to the Minister of Business Development, Mrs Afua Asabea Asare, is set to replace Gifty Klenam as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).

Gifty Klenam was relieved of her post on Wednesday.

Even though the government did not give reasons for the action, sources say she may have been fired for mismanaging the public kitty through flagrant violations of the public procurement.laws.

Meanwhile, Citi News sources at the Authority said Sam Dentu and Albert Diwura would also take over from Eric Amoako Twum and Akilu Sayibu as Deputy CEOs of GEPA.
