Afram Plains: Farmer Arrested For Inflicting Wounds on Another Farmer

A 28-year-old farmer Osei George has been arrested by Ekye Amanfrom Police in Afram Plains South District of the Eastern Region for inflicting cutlass wounds on another farmer.

The incident occurred at Konadu Village near Ekye Amanfrom.

The suspect inflicted cutlass wounds on his victim Kwame Agyapong,30, after a misunderstanding ensued between them.

He was overpowered and arrested by one Yaw Duah assisted by Kojo Asante who handed him over to the Ekye Amanfrom Police.

The Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, Sargeant Francis Gomado, confirmed the incident to us adding that medical forms were issued for the victim to seek healthcare at Presbyterian Hospital in Donkokrom while the suspect in Police custody assisting in the investigation.
