Songnè Yacouba joins Medeama SC on a two year deal

Former Asante Kotoko striker Songnè Yacouba has completed a transfer to Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC as a free agent, sportsnetgh.com can exclusively confirm.

The 28-year-old striker penned a two-year-deal with the Yellow and Mauves that will see him with the Tarkwa based side till the end of the 2022 season.

Medeama SC agreed an amount of GHc30,000 per year deal with a performance contract of $10,000.00 each year with the Burkinabè attacker.

He is expected to take GHc5,000.00 every month at Medeama SC.

Songnè Yacouba left Asante Kotoko after the expiration of his two-year contract with the club early this month and has successfully sealed a deal with Samuel Boadu’s side.

Medeama SC are chasing their first ever Premier League title as they lie first on the suspended Ghana Premier League table after 15 games.

The coming of Songnè Yacouba will invigorate their squad in their quest to annex the league title.
