Accountability is sine Qua Non, But the passport to it must be dead politic

Accountability in the context of public service refers to the duty of workers to score duties and crawl to laws to guarantee the effective and systematic exploit of public resources.
Accountability is intimately associated with transparency, adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and the economical and efficient utilization of resources. In addition, Bovens (2007) delineated the word ‘Accountability’ as a golden concept, incrementally used in political discourse and policy documents’.
According to the author, accountability conveys an image of lucidity. He also scented that, accountability is geared up towards enhancing an efficient control mechanism to undertake that, public money is supervised in compliance with legal requirements.
It is indispensable for one to spice up the orientation of accountability in a country.
The citizens clamour for it interminably, because there is an ethos among them that, public officials, chiefly the politicians dissipate and empty the skimpy resources directed for the country’s metamorphosis ostentatiously and in a mammonish manner as well. Explicitly, it is grand for every citizen to vitalize the blitzes of accountability in the bid to facilitate pellucidity in any public sectors, since, it is a constitutional provision.
The 1992 Constitution, Article 21 (f) sanctions every Ghanaian the leave to information in re public sector affairs and governance in general. It is against this backdrop that Parliament exerted the Right to Information ACT, 2019 (Act 989), which Nana Akufo-Addo surrendered to it on 21st May, 2019.
The RTI ACT 989, furthers transparency and accountability by delegating people to access information on central and local governments as well as non-governmental organizations, which are publicly subsidized.
John Mahama has been a helluva albatross of the constitution and which in fact, it has induced a bitching sour indictment of it. It ‘must’ be incumbent on every President to expedite the rituals of ‘ accountability ‘ to shield the public purse and not to harbour grasping persons.
So, in case, such bandwagon is lubricated, a maximum integer of the citizens will take up the cudgels till its worthwhile materialization. Because, creating a culture of accountability optimizes employee morale, crescendoes effectiveness, and screens against liability distress.
Moreover, the Concept of Public Accountability warrants that, politicians and public servants who are/were burdened with public resources must be liable for their fiscal and social chores to the people who imparted the resources  and who assigned the responsibilities to them. In a democratic society, Public Accountability is a decisive facet of Good Governance. It deifies good behaviour on the part of public servants and soup up effective public service delivery.
Unescorted by transparency and accountability, ‘trust’ will be deficient in between a government and those whom it regulates. The corollary would be social instability and an environment that is less than propitious to economic growth.
The hunting of accountability by John Mahama appears to be twirled and wheeled on sadism, exaction, stigmatization and political grain. We have spotted some of the fatuous, irresponsible and fiendish expedients, borrowed by him to course for accountability ; a techniques, which were monstrous revolt to the recognized laws and norms of the country.
The flamboyance and affectation of presidential property by John Mahama has oriented the country to a nest of dystopia. It is sorry that, anytime, John Mahama is been bestowed with the presidential throne, then we bowed in theaters on Caesarism.
He is someone, who doesn’t prize the whetted carpet of the laws _ he has branded himself as irreparable unruly and philistine to the serration of the laws. As the President, he has wrung from tractability to become a seedy reprobate and rascal !
John Mahama has employed a Kung fu, taekwondo and ninja kinds of tactics in demanding for accountability from radically the NPP advocates. The wilful stab of him to sink the ingredients of the laws is fretting the virtue of the country like lightning but surreptitiously.
The application of savagery and compulsion to crave for accountability are barbaric, infernal and flipping mechanism ! How can a sham security operatives migrated to the milieu of some people to vandalize assets and snavelled their stocks ? It is crystal clear that, they were railroaded to occupy those places on the ticket of being security personnel, hence they weren’t boned up the regulatory structure and investigatory insight.
Because, it has been enshrined in Section 8(3) of Act 30 that, all searches shall be exercised with ‘strict decency ‘ _ which portrays that, it must be executed bereft of engendering havocs to the person either physically, psychologically, materially or financially. However, those traitorously paraded security operatives stormed the various residents to habitually whip from there.
Therefore, it doesn’t harbinger solemnly well for the country, due to how John Mahama is indomitable to pervert the orthodox onuses of state institutions in an act to bug the disciples of the opposition party.
But John Mahama ought to reminisce about the fact that, there is expiration to his office and as a result, it is politic of him to tread on the lines of circumspection, for, whatever he proposes to plant today, shall be harvested one day, and if the upshot is reaped execrably, he will swallow it regardless, but singularly !
