Abronye DC tipped to be new ECG boss

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Mr. Kwame Baffoe, has been tipped as the new Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) after Samuel Dubik Mahama resigned from the post.

Abronye DC, popularly known for his rich experience in the energy sector, according to experts, will best fit the position.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been asked to consider the outspoken Bono Regional Chairman to manage the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

Some residents in the Bono region who spoke to this reporter described Abronye DC as a very hardworking man who could manage the company to the satisfaction of all Ghanaians.

The immediate past boss of the ECG, Samuel Dubik Mahama, has resigned from his position after two years in office as managing director of the main electric power distributing company in Ghana.
