Abrokofe rainstorm victims get relief from Sehwi Wiawso Kontihene

Victims of the recent devastating rainstorm in Sehwi Abrokofe have received relief support from the Kontihene of the Sehwi Wiawso Traditional Area, Nana Ofori Ahenkan II, who is also the chief of Sehwi Boinzan.

The heavy rainstorm, which struck the community last week, caused extensive damage to homes, farms, and key infrastructure, leaving several families displaced and in urgent need of support.

In response, Nana Ofori Ahenkan II donated 10 packets of roofing sheets, 20 boxes of roofing nails, and other essential relief items to help affected residents rebuild their homes.

The donation was presented on his behalf by the queen mother of Sehwi Boinzan, Akosua Tanaa II, who encouraged community members to adopt tree planting as a long-term measure to mitigate the impact of future storms.

Receiving the items on behalf of the victims, the chief of Sehwi Abrokofe, Nana Kwabena Yeboah II, expressed gratitude for the timely intervention, describing it as a testament to the unity and compassion within the Sehwi Wiawso Traditional Area.

The support from Nana Ofori Ahenkan II reflects the ongoing commitment of traditional leaders to the welfare of their communities, particularly in times of distress.
