Abia 2023 Guber: SDP standard-bearer, Johnson-Ogbuneke challenges opponents to declare assets

Ngozi Johnson-Ogbuneke, the gubernatorial  standard-bearer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Abia State for the forthcoming 2023 general election, Apostle Ngozika Gladys Johnson-Ogbuneke, has challenged all the governorshio candidates to declare their assets as a way to sanitize the rot in the system and position Abia to become the state we are desirous of.
She threw the challenge during an interactive session with newsmen in Aba, the commercial nerve center of of Abia State, on Wednesday.
Johnson-Ogbuneke regretted that the current situation of Abia State does not need the same people who have been in the government system, and queried why a man that led Abia State University and Abia State Polytechnic to its present deplorable condition should still have the temerity to come out Publicly to canvas for votes.
“We need fresh, credible and transparent candidates that will salvage Abia from state of this quagmire”, she posited.
The Abia gubernatorial candidate also reteriated her readiness to declare her source of income publicly urged her opponents to come out openly and tell Abians  their sources of revenue too.
Johnson-Ogbuneke further used the medium to urge all the eligible voters to go and register in the on going  Voters Registration exercise,
“That year 2023 election will be one that will measure the crediblity of ndi-Abia by their choices in voting in credible candidates to govern them. It will not be business as usual she”, the SDP Standard-bearer submitted.
Johnson-Ogbuneke will battle for the revered seat of the Governor of Abia State in the coming main elections in the state with Alex Otti, gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party (LP), Uche Ogah (APC), Uchenna Ikonne (PDP), and Greg Ibe (APGA).
