A Soldier Beats His Wife After She Received A Call From Another Man

A senior member of the Zimbabwe military, Colonel Chance Mkhwananzi, has been arrested and taken to court for assaulting his beloved wife after he accused her of cheating on him with another man.

According to reports, the soldier hit his wife’s head against a wall and she fell unconscious. The army officer was immediately arrested and appeared before Western Commonage Court Judge Jeconia Ruler Ncube, where he admitted the allegations of physical abuse.

The court heard that while the army officer was in their house at Gwabalanga’s with his wife and children, the woman received a phone call from one of their workers, identified as Arnold Sibanda He became suspicious and started accusing her of having an affair with the worker.

These allegations resulted in a quarrel between the couple, Mkhwananzi hitting his wife several times and also banging her head against the wall. The woman passed out and was rushed to the hospital. Mkhwananzi was fined $25,000 and must pay before January 1, 2023 or face four months in jail
