A pastor from a popular Church advised me to stop going to Church – Mzbel

Ghanaian singer, Mzbel has disclosed the reason why she has stopped going to church.

Mzbel some time ago stated emphatically that she will never go to church and that she doesn’t believe in God.

According to the ‘Legelege’ hitmaker, she has on several occasions had the desire to go church after she gave birth, but the statement from a Pastor discouraged her.

In an interview with LightFM, Mzbel explained that a Pastor in IGCG church told her that her genre of music conflicts with Christianity so she needs to advise herself.

” I was told my kind of job and Christianity conflicts so it’s better I stop going to Church, ” she said.

She proceeded by saying that the statement made by the Pastor hurt her so much that she decided to accept it because it came from a Pastor.

The ’16 years’ singer is no more a Christian and now practices Judaism.
