A Mother’s Regret: Abortion for a White Wedding Leads to 12 Years of Infertility

A married woman has revealed the heartbreaking consequences of a decision she made 12 years ago: terminating a pregnancy to ensure her church wedding was blessed. She now believes this choice has left her unable to conceive.

Sharing her poignant story on “The Secret Court,” a popular YouTube show hosted by Ghanaian prophet Elisha Osei, the woman recounted how she and her husband had completed their traditional marriage and were eagerly preparing for a white wedding in church.

However, an unexpected complication arose during a mandatory six-month waiting period imposed by their church leadership. “The church said we should wait six months before they bless our marriage. But two months into the waiting period, I discovered that I was pregnant,” she disclosed.

Church authorities informed the couple that they could not bless a wedding if the bride was pregnant. Her husband, she explained, advised her to keep the baby and forgo the church wedding. Yet, she was resolute in her desire for the white wedding she had always envisioned.

“My husband said we should keep the baby and forget the church blessing, but I wanted the wedding so badly. So, I went ahead and aborted the pregnancy,” she stated, her voice heavy with regret.

The couple proceeded with their white wedding as planned. However, what followed was a prolonged journey marked by infertility. Twelve years later, the woman remains childless, and her husband is now reportedly threatening to evict her from their home and divorce her.

“It’s been twelve years, and I have not conceived again. Now my husband says he is tired and wants to leave me,” she tearfully shared.

In her desperation, she sought spiritual guidance from Prophet Elisha Osei, grappling with the belief that her past actions might be supernaturally impacting her present reality.
