A lady’s nightie stained with blood was found at J.B Danquah’s murder scene – Ken Agyapong

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that there was a lady’s nightie partly soaked with blood at the murder scene of the late New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa-North, J.B Danquah Adu.

According to him in an interview he granted UTV and monitored by MyNewsGh.com, when he was invited to the scene by the police, he spotted a lady’s nightie with blood on the front and nothing at the back indicating that he has seen enough and cannot be threatened with mere lawsuits.

“When J.B died, I was called by the police, the sister of JB’s wife called Sheba told me her sister was not even aware the husband was dead. If she was not aware who is the owner of the nightie soaked with blood in the front who does it belong to”, he quizzed.

The NPP firebrand insists the country must get to the bottom of the matter because he is a human being revealing he has enough evidence he has to back allegations against widow of the late J.B Danquah Adu, Ivy Heward-Mills.

“Anybody who has been killed in this country is not a dog, we must get to the bottom of the matter.

Ivy Heward Mills, the wife of the late MP for Abuakwa North, JB Danquah-Adu, has sued Kennedy Agyapong and eight others for defamation, demanding 50 million Ghanaian Cedis.

This follows some comments made by the Assin Central MP which suggested that the MP’s wife was having an intimate relationship with the investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The widow who considers Agyapong’s comments defamatory decided to drag him to court for redress.

But Mr Agyapong has disclosed that he will not be cowed into submission promising the drill her in court and prove all the allegations levelled against her.

“I can prove to you that Ivy knew Anas since 2015, If Anas thinks he is a good investigator then it’s a lie…I can do proper investigations more than him. Ivy just wants trouble for herself but I’ll show her in court that I’m not afraid of anyone. I’ll die for the truth,” he said.
