A 50-year-old tavern owner was stabbed to death in KwaZulu-Natal
According to police, the owner of a tavern in Verulum was stabbed to death in the Cottonlands district of northern Durban.
Police spokesman Captain Nqobile Gwala said the body of a 50-year-old man was found “with multiple stings.”
“He was sentenced to death on the scene. The circumstances surrounding the case are being investigated.”
News24 understands that the victim had been running Jo’s Tavern for years from his residence.
