Young dad cries to Ghanaians to help his daughter walk, sit and talk

The hopes of a Father, Fredrick Frimpong hangs in the balance as his 4-year-old daughter, Jasmine Frimpong, since the day she was born has never made an attempt to sit, stand and talk, a situation that has made him [Fredrick] perplexed because the mother of young Jasmine is late.

Narrating his ordeal to Sammy Kay on the Go online show, Frederick said his auntie was the one taking care of the baby when she was born and since then the child has never been the same.

According to him, he locks up the child alone in his room every morning when he is going to work.

“I wake her up very early in the morning, bathe and feed her then I lock her up and leave for work. I am self-employed so I leave home to work and close from work at my own convenient time. I sometimes have to stay home just because of my daughter…it would have been difficult if I have an employer,” he said.

Fredrick disclosed that, Graphic Communication Group Limited helped him during the first surgery of young Jasmine at Korle-bu Teaching Hospital but the doctors could not physically find anything wrong with her.

He indicated that he will be glad to see his daughter in school so that he can be able to work hard and visit her every week to see how she is doing.

“Every school that I try seeking admission for my daughter, I am told that they can only admit her when she can either sit or walk but not when she lies down always.”

He is, therefore, pleading with Ghanaians to come to his aid.
